Sisterhood of Heartfelt Empowerment

Exploring Identity, Relationships, and Spirituality

Through the Sisterhood of Heartfelt Empowerment (SHE), all-female small groups of 8-10 students and 2 female mentors meet on a monthly basis. Mentors offer support to participants in accordance with three main values: feeling empowered, living authentic lives, and finding space to explore and integrate information about their identities.

Small groups form at the beginning of the year and require a year-long commitment. Sign-up opportunities are also available mid-year for students joining UP or returning from study abroad.

SHE is possible through a collaboration of the Health and Counseling Center and Campus Ministry and involves many additional collaborators across campus. To receive more information and find out whether SHE might be a good fit for you, please contact:
