Spiritual Mentorship

Stained glass windowIt is not uncommon to have many spiritual resources available to you and still feel uncertain about how to engage meaningfully in prayer.

You may find it helpful to engage in an on-going conversation with a Spiritual Mentor, an individual who walks with you in your spiritual journey. Listening and offering guidance, this mentor seeks to help you identify the ways in which God is acting in your life.

Getting started:

We have a number of faculty and staff who serve as Spiritual Mentors right here at UP.

To assist students in finding a good fit, we ask a few questions about their preferences (e.g. male or female; lay or religious; someone of the same faith tradition or a different faith tradition).

If you think this is an opportunity you’d like to explore, please contact Beth Barsotti at barsotti@up.edu or 503.943.7463 for an initial conversation.
