Silent Retreat

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.
- Mark 1:35

Students praying during the Silent Retreat

When we take the time to still our minds and bodies, we become more aware of God’s loving presence in our lives. Jesus himself would seek quiet places to pray, and he often invited his disciples to join him.

Campus Ministry’s Silent Retreat encourages students to experience God’s presence more deeply through a weekend of quiet prayer, reflection, and solitude, away from many of life’s distractions. Throughout the retreat, each participant will receive personal guidance in his or her prayer from a Spiritual Mentor.

Check back in the fall for more information about this year's Silent Retreat.
