Student Health Advisory Board

Mission:

The purpose of the Student Health Advisory Board (SHAB) is to assist in the transition from student opinions to implementation of ideas in the Health and Counseling Center. Through monthly meetings, the SHAB will be able to gather community input and transmit it to the Health and Counseling Center to implement and improve services across campus.

 To accomplish our mission we:

  • Assess and determine the physical and mental needs of students
  • Integrate and develop programs to address these needs
  • Gather input and relay opinions and concerns to the Health and Counseling Center

Members include appointed students from different schools, clubs, and organizations across campus.

Vision:

The Student Health Advisory Board will be a safe environment for all campus groups to give their input on current issues. The board is comprised of students, creating an honest and open environment.
