Immersion Coordinators

Immersion coordinators are responsible for making all our immersions happen! From recruiting participants in the fall to wrapping things up once the group has returned and all the details in between — these impactful experiences rely on the leadership of the coordinators.

Two students are selected to coordinate each immersion. Together, their responsibilities include outreach, community-building, group preparation, budgeting, fundraising, planning the experience, making travel arrangements, facilitating group reflection, and a variety of administrative tasks related to immersions. The leadership skills gained from working on a project of this scope from beginning to end transfer well to many future personal and professional opportunities.
