The Lloyd District is best known for the Lloyd Center shopping mall filled with restaurants and major retailers, and a 10-screen movie theater sits adjacent to the mall. The Rose Quarter is home to the Moda Center, site of Trailblazer basketball and numerous concerts and events, and the Memorial Coliseum where the Portland Winterhawks (hockey) play. A number of restaurants line both Broadway and Weidler Streets as well as Grand Ave. and Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard. You'll find classic standbys like Red Robin and Applebee's, and Portland favorites like McMenamin's, Altabira City Tavern (great views of the city from the top of the Hotel Eastlund), and Citizen Baker (a yummy bakery and cafe).
